Opportunities

In addition to regular meetings, our group offers a variety of other opportunities.

Active members have the opportunity to be listed on this website, with a hot link to their own web page.  Active members agree to attend at least one meeting a calendar quarter.  The cost for listing is $5 per calendar year per company or individual.

Breakout Sessions:

All members are invited to participate in breakout sessions which are held approximately three times per year.  Interested members meet in groups of five to seven individuals from non-competing businesses. The sessions are chaired by Mr. David Gay, the Director of the Small Business Development Center at the College of DuPage.   During these sessions, each person presents one problem or issue they are facing in their business, for feedback from the group. Information shared is held as confidential.  These sessions have been tremendously beneficial, as we share ideas and perspectives from various industries. These sessions are offered as a free service to group members.

Guest Speakers:

We welcome guest speakers to our group.  Guest speakers are scheduled either for regular meeting times or for special sessions.  Guest speakers have been drawn both  from our own members and from outside organizations.  A variety of topics have been presented, including Guerilla Marketing, Collection Activity and Financial Reporting.  These sessions are generally free of charge.

Other Events:

We host a variety of special events during the year.  These include an annual group outing to the Kane County Cougars, special seminars in conjunction with Batavia MainStreet, etc.  We also have participated in charitable events benefitting charities such as Hesed House and the Interfaith Clothes Closet.

Other Networking Groups:
